Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver?

Usually yes, but at busy times it may not be possible, particularly on last minute orders.

If you let me know when you place your order, I will calculate the delivery fee as part of your quote.

Can I collect my cake?

Of course! I am based in Brentford in West London and am very happy for you to collect your cake. Collection is free. Depending on my other commitments, you may need to collect your cake the day before your event.

I want a flavour of sponge/icing that you don’t have on  your website. Can you help?

Of course! The sponges and icings that are on the website are my most commonly requested. However, I love trying out new flavour combinations, so please just let me know what you would like and I will be happy to oblige.

How much do your cakes cost?

It depends…! Sorry, I know that’s not very helpful. There are so many factors that go into the pricing of a cake. I have created a page here to give you a rough idea about pricing and to explain how costs are calculated. The best thing to do is get in touch, let me know what you need and I will put together a quote with a couple of different options and prices.

Do I need to pay a deposit and when do I pay for my cake?

Yes. In order to confirm your booking you will need to pay a deposit. Please see my T&Cs for more details on deposits and final payments.

Do you make gluten free/vegan cakes?

Yes! I am happy to accommodate different dietary requirements. Please get in touch to discuss.

I'm not sure what I want - can you help?

Absolutely! I love the opportunity to get my thinking cap on and design something beautiful. Don't worry if you have no idea what you are looking for - I'll help you get it just right! Just drop me a message using the contact form here.

How far in advance should I order my cake?

I don't have strict lead times for my cakes, but of course the earlier you book the more chance you have of avoiding disapointment as the date you need may already be full. Generally speaking about a month's notice is ideal for a celebration cake. Wedding cakes can be booked up to two years in advance, but I have also turned round wedding cakes with 3 days notice, and celebration cakes with 2! So it's always worth getting in touch to see if I can help.

Do you have ready made cakes to buy?

I'm afraid not, all my cakes are individually made to order.
